David James Deeper Orchestration Shade.1
Bit of an off the cuff mix here, I've finally got the means to record sets so should be dropping a few mixes this way. A quick flick through the crates and I've pulled out some jazz bits, a couple of detroit house numbers, and stuffed a few deeper disco joints in there too.

Chris Barker Summertime (August 05)
As the Summer draws painfully to an end here's a selection of tracks that have been given a proper rinseing over the sunny season, featuring songs by artists including Bunny Wailer, Dayton, Beatfanatic, Bougie Soliterre, Domu and Omar as well as the Motown classic "Date with the rain" in a fitting tribute to the British Summertime.

Jim Myogenic Departures
Well whats going on here then? Our other resident VJ, Jim Myogenic has been in the mix as well. He's put together a selection of music in celebration of jigsaw making an appearance at a certain festival this summer...
No beatmatching (he wouldn't know where to start) and come to think of it, there's not many beats either, so pour yourself a large Sapphire and Tonic, sit back and see if you can make it to the end without being blissfully asleep!

Rich Tracks for Tramps 5: Late Night Shenanigans
Rich's latest tracks for tramps mix showcases the late night Jigsaw sound. Dirty disco, Detroit house, filthy Ladbrook Grove broken beats and all manner of deepness in between. There's also a couple of tunes thrown in there that are likely to be massive this summer - check 40 minutes into the mix for the huge new tune
"The Mast" from RSL (even better than Wesley Music according to Rich) and the monster that is Boom Klicky Boom Klick (a tune that has "BOOM" in its title twice was always going to be a winner though).

Rich Tracks for Tramps 4: Tracks for Sunday Tramps
Rich takes us through a very lazy Sunday mix of jazz, neo soul, laid back broken beats, hip hop and world music. This mix is all about fresh pre-releases that won't be in the shops for some time yet but as you'd expect from Jigsawmusic there's a few timeless classics thrown in for good measure such as
Fela's mighty Zombie. Promo highlights include the Cinematic Orchestra's latest which will only be featured on the Giles Peterson Exclusives album; Amp Fiddler's sublime mix of Oi Va Voi's latest release; New York's rising hip hop stars: Automoto; Ludacris' prodigy Chingy, who is currently making huge waves in the states; and Will Holland's take on a hot new Dynamoe track. Put your feet up and enjoy!

Jigsaw’s not just about the latest cuts, its just about quality
music and this set is all about the worldwide beats that have shaped
and influenced the music that’s being produced today. Latin,
afrobeat, funk and jazz tunes mainly from the 70’s that are
so fresh that they could have been produced yesterday – mixed

G Tracks for Tramps
Here’s the first ever Jigsaw radio show
and it's from our very own Rich G. After
spending far too much time for his own good in Manchester’s
clubs such as Electric Chair, Bugged Out, Drama and subsequently
his own night Sidewinder: Music for the Next Beat Generation who
he created with Asa Calow, Rich saw sense and moved to Birmingham
at the end of 2001. Asa has continued to promote and DJ in Manchester
whilst Rich has been
biding his time in Brum waiting for a chance
to spread the party vibe.
